Title: mastering 2 calls

 :wave: the 2 calls that i am going to master this year i hope  are the tube call and the trumpet  i have a lot of custom calls made from  great makers what i need to know is on the tube call which one is the easiest to use baffeld or not

I think it's easier to learn on a baffled tube. You need some back pressure to get your yelps to break over nicely. You can create this back pressure with your hands but a baffle will do it for you. It also quietens a tube down a touch and that's hard to do starting out.

I remember when I started making baffled tubes, everyone thought it was a sin.....but over the past three years, more and more are finding out that this lil' change makes a huge change in how the tube works, for the newbie and avid hunter alike. I would suggest a baffled call, then go to an open call.

Man, you picked 2 tuff ones to try to master.
I've been runnin' tubes for 16 years now and I'm still learning!
One thing for sure, if , I mean when, you do master these 2 calls, there won't be a turkey in the woods that will be safe!
