Title: bronchitis
Post by: TClark on February 19, 2011, 08:15:08 AM
Anyone know of a home remedy for bronchitis that works? My ribs and diaphragm are so sore from coughing. I can only sit in one position and I can only sleep at my desk with my head down on a pillow. Now my arms ache too.

Somethimg that may work is go to the liquor store and get a little sampler bottler of Golden Slaugger, turn it up and drink it all at once, there is cinamine in it and it will open up your chest, it has worked for me. I'm not a drinker anymore and don't reckamend drinking as a cure but this works at least once.

Try some cepacol cough drops--they actuall numb the cords and get your self a glass of ice and keep sucking on the cubes. I used  to get bronchitis all the time when I was younger.. and sleep if you can in a recliner.. :icon_thumright:

Don't have a cure , but that stuff is going around in a bad way here.  They shut down a couple of schools and I have tried to stay away from everyone with a cough. I feel for ya.  My moms got it now.

If it's that bad, I wouldn't even mess around. I'd haul my sick butt to the Doc for some serious antibiotics. Hope ya feel better soon.  :icon_thumright:

I'm getting over Bronch right now and the DOC gave me a Vitamin B shot and some good pills. I felt better within 24 hrs.  Go see your Doctor don't let that cough stick around when turkey season starts.
