Title: Kansas public ground
Post by: deltaeta on January 19, 2012, 08:36:30 PM
Hope this doesn't start the riot that a similar post started. I'm curious about public hunting in Kansas. Looking to get away from south east area. From what I can gather, that area gets a lot of attention. Anybody have any leads? I know the atlas comes out in March or so, but hoping to narrow it down a bit.

I am glade you asked the question I didn't know about that nonresident issue. That was the time of the year when my wife's health started getting bad so I missed that post. I tried to make planes to go to Kansas for my Rio but changed them to Oklahoma for maybe better opportunitys. But didn't make it there last year because of my wife's health issues, so this is the year, I am headed to Oklahoma for my Rio. The Rio is the last one for a slam and they were all on public land.

Guess I should be happy that the fireworks didn't start, huh? Not looking for anyone's specific spots, just a general idea.
