This is my personal favorite from the latest Hunter Series and truth-be-told I hate to let this one go...from the early stages I knew it was gonna be special and my buddy Snakeboots might have been right about this one...it should be going to Nat's. This was my first affair, oooo la la with Redheart and it has quickly risen to the top of my hit list for lids with Ipe. It has super friction and matched with this fine NY yellow poplar I got the best of both worlds with aesthetics and sound. The hunter who is receiving this caller is quite the turkey and whitetail thug so I hope he likes the tail feather backdrop to the Booner. The opposite rail is an image from a farm near where I grew up and a good friend of the families since childhood. It has long since been abandoned, but the image is forever lasting in my memory as many a good drink :o was taken in my youth sitting up in the hay mound. In many ways this is a special call and I hope it brings the hunter many memories as well.
