Title: Illinois Bound
Post by: culpeper on January 16, 2012, 07:10:11 PM
I am pretty fond of this caller...the colors and sound all came together.  Figured Walnut over hard yellow Poplar with Bubinga spacers and inlays and Zebrawood end blocks.  This call is distinct the right rail is solid and classic with a bold raspy finish, the left rail doesn't run long, but what it 'lacks' in loud stroke it more than makes up for in great young hen yelps, tree talk, purring and nice whiny feeding sounds.  A lot of diversity and knowing this experienced hunter, he'll work it just right for the demise of many gobblers.
