Haven't been on much trying to get my house MOSTLY done before hunting season. Luckily my lady use to own a construction business, and is very good at this kind of thing or it would even go slower. So far we seem to be 1/2 done with a lot of projects, but being we aren't young anymore, and there is too much rest time. Currently we are adding a closet to a family room to make it into a large master bedroom. We are 1/2 done with the upstairs bathroom, and have some painting done. Being it is an older house I've had to go over it insulating/weather stripping and some duct work to seal it up from the elements better. I'm moving onto the wood floors after the master bedroom is finished. Renting a sander, staining, then varnishing. Can't wait to see that done. Floors in good shape except for 2 spots that use to have floor vents, and I'm going to need to pull the patch work, and lay floor slats. I figure by the time I get it done. including the basement, it's about a 2 year project. House was originally around 670 sq feet, and with the addition we added 8 years ago, I've got around 1300 plus livable space. A lot of work, but it's very satisfying doing the work yourself, and except for about a days work of electrical, I'll have to pay for, we should be able to do it ourselves.
Sounds awesome Jay. Post up some pics!
