couple weeks back while deer hunting i got surrounded by a large flock of turkeys. gobblers, hens , and jakes. the gobblers were being pushed around by a boss bird. not uncommon ,however the boss had a mohawk. black feather/hair on his head maybe 1.5 to 2" tall and as wide and long as his head.
has anyone ever saw a gobbler like this?

Awesome that you seen it in January and was able to take him during season!! Congrats
Congrats! That is definitely a new one to me.
Thats real cool. Its a comb over. it might be worth a mount right there. I bet you wont find to many like that.
This was my first year to hunt in Bama and I killed one that was growing a pretty nice mullet...
Dudes got a wild feather instead of a wild hair! :character0029:
