Title: Buying turkey tags online electronicly...
Post by: perrysbirds on January 12, 2012, 05:53:14 PM
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if someone can tell me if the spring turkey tags can be got now on the Wyoming and South Dakota game and fish websites....I dont think so yet but I might be wrong...This is my first time getting a tag electronicly...not quite sure how its all done...
Remember I will be a non-resident as well...not sure if that has anything to do with it...
Thanks Perry

I hunt the Black Hills of SD every spring! BH132 is the non res hunt code and its $85 for non res! You will have to fill out a profile with all of your info to order your tag online! February is usually the month that you can begin purchasing unlimited tags like BH132, or begin applying for either east or west river units as well as a few other areas!

I usually sign up if applicable and get an ID number. If I can't find the tag, license, permit etc  I will email them with specific questions such as what is needed and when they come on sale. If you need to buy it in person, have it mailed or can print it online. It may take a few days but they usually email back with required info and you have it right from the source. Eg Kansas told me their tags go on sale online Jan 10th and New Mexico not until April 1st and you need to get them in person or have them mailed. For Georgia and Florida I was able to just buy and print them off online. I'm sure Wyoming will have a similiar web site and you can find what you need fairly easily this way.
