Title: Indiancreek BDS & SX3 Waterfowl
Post by: teke on January 08, 2012, 08:29:00 PM
Patterned new BDS with Kent diamond 31/2 2.24oz. 5&6 shot. Had 133 hits in10" circle at 40 yards lasered with 5 shot. Only 117 hits with 6 shot. Pretty satisfied with 5 shot but, if I were to try Hevi-Shot, would I go for 5's or 6's..Seeing how it seems to pattern 5's better?

In the hevi shells I would say the 6s for sure between the two. You may also want to try the 7s, they would be my first choice.

With 133 at 40 using the cheapest #5 Lead shells, forget the HTL.

I have personally found that my RemChoke .665 IC BDS likes #5 and #6 Lead.  #7 H13, Magnum Blend, and XRHD #6 all patterned better than #6 H13.

I also have a new INV+ SS IC BDS that I haven't patterned yet.

Did the Mag blends put up 200 in 10 at 40?
