Title: Sausage time...
Post by: Reloader on January 04, 2012, 09:55:21 PM
Been after horns for a couple months, but it's time to punch a few doe tags before it winds down.  This ole girl offered me a slight quartering away shot at 335yds, so I slipped a 100TTSX right through the pumper.

Having some hot links and burger made as we speak.

Ya'll have a good one,

Reloader

Just got her back last night.  10lbs of smoked hot links, a pile of burger w/ beef fat added, and tenderized steaks from the straps.  Only $55 to get it done.  They make some darn fine smoked links too.

Having a bunch of folks over tom for the big game.  Burgers, baked beans, and hotlinks on the menu.  The wife is making a creamy coconut cake too.  Oughta be some fine eats.  Now, just need the Tigers to get er done.

It was darn good.  I put 4 links on the grill and it was devoured shortly after coming off.  The burgers were a big hit too.  I mixed 3lbs elk with 3lbs deer, added 2 eggs, ½ bottle A1, ¼ bottle of Worchestershire, and a few tbsps of Tony's seasoning.  Good stuff.

I'm sure the ball game was a disappointment, but it reads like the meal saved the day!!!
