Title: Finally got my new feather ridge call press
Post by: gobble157 on January 03, 2012, 08:05:34 AM
I have been chatting with Thad for over six years and I finally broke and got one of his competition presses. Needless to say, I've made many calls and only tossed maybe ten away. It's a work in progress but I already found my "happy place" with my back tension and side tension parameters are set pending how many reeds I use. I have already replicated my most favorite call and it sounds freaking sweet :)

God bless

Congrats on your purchase.  I say you own one of the best presses out there today. I can't wait to get my youth press and tape cutter from Thad. I've already got the regular size press and tape cutter really well built.

Awesome. Ive been eyeballing them for awhile myself.

With three kids.....something always needs the money I put aside. One day though.

Might I ask how much a press like this runs?
