Title: Planning hunt in Georgia!

I'm from WV and have a buddy of mine that has 1000 acres in Georgia! Going down for the 2nd week of season! Excited as all get out!!! Any georgia hunters in here?

I'm in Ga. Hope you have a safe and injoyable hunt. I'm with guesswho on the 24th though.

Im from georgia. Kinda funny one of the few out of town trips I take to hunt turkeys is to WV.

We have had three good gobbler hatches in a row. TONS of jakes last year, so you should be able to get on a few birds on 1000.00 acres. Good luck.

I live and Georgia, and do most of my spring hunting here.  I hope you have a great trip and get to take one of our long beards home with you.   :anim_25:

In the 1990's I ahd a lease in Wshington COunty Near Tennile, which is the southern portion of the county, and it was loaded with birds.  You picked a great county to hunt that is for sure.

We never know what the weather is going to be like in early season, may still be pretty cold in the mornings.
