Title: Hen talk
Post by: TRKYHTR on December 24, 2011, 11:30:31 AM
Here is a little hen talk from yesterday. One of my hens got out of the pen and all the turkeys started going crazy. There is some good clucking and purring and some real soft yelps. Merry Christmas

Yea that stupid thing and my rooster wont shut up when I get out there. I even threw some rocks at the guinea hen to get her to shut up. Everytime the turkeys get to carrying on that guinea goes nuts.

We filmed a hunt at Longwoodhammock Outfitters last spring and they had a guinea that acutally ran wild with a two or three hens that were flocked together.  She got seperated from them one morning and that thing did what I would say was her version of an assembly yelp for an hour!  I would yelp to it and it would answer! Craziest thing I've ever seen...
