Title: What do you want for Christmas
Post by: Eric Gregg on December 15, 2011, 09:16:36 AM
My dear wife, who is the best woman a hunter could want, was nice enough to order me a Shur Shot stock for my Rem. 870 Youth model 20GA :z-guntootsmiley:
Well, looks like it came in as she forgot to hide it from me and left it on our bed.
Can you believe that she is making me wait until Christmas to open.

I know that we men are only grown up boys with more expensive toys.
What did you guys ask for this season?

Tikka T3 TAC in a .308 with the added suppressor.
About 4000 rounds of .308 ammo
An addional 2000 rounds of .223 ammo
And another 1000 rounds of .17 HMR ammo
That's a good start!
I may have to buy it myself though.....

Oh I almost forgot
Another 500 rounds of .243 ammo and 1000 rounds of 00 Buck 12GA ammo
I'm good on .45ACP ammo

Sharon and I are headed to Cabelas after she gets home from work, we will see what we come home with. I have too much stuff (is that possible) so we are stocking up on our cold weather gear for the next trip we take, but I have picked up a few needed items on this site that I really needed!! :presents2:

Hunting wise, all I'm getting is a Pure Gold for my 535.  It's kind of become a tradition to get a new tube each year.

I have asked my wife for a Hunters Safety system harness.  Hopefully a few Bass Pro gift card or Gander Mt. gift cards will be under the tree as well.

I sure would love to see a Delta 46-460 midi lathe sitting there at Christmas. Just not sure if she picked up the hint or not.

Might as well throw in all expense paid hunts in as many states as you can travel.

My 19 year old daughter announced this week that she is getting married Monday.  :-\   Not really a wish, but I pray that she and her husband-to-be will honor each other and honor God in their marriage.  That's what I want for Christmas.   :santaclaus:

This is my daughter's last Christmas trip while she's still in high school, so that's good enough for me.  In fact, instead of my wife and I exchanging gifts this year, we spent it all on my daughter.

I have it on good authority there will be some Hooks' mouth calls in the stocking...since I ordered the ones I want. :TooFunny:
That and a worksharp knife sharpener are all I asked for.
I mentioned getting a pressure washer for the house in early fall and I think she may have gotten me one for Christmas.  That would be great too. :icon_thumright:
I can be out washing off the driveway and siding the day after Christmas.

I tell ya, I really wish I could just be home for Christmas this year instead of this dang drilling rig in Brazil. This bites a big one!
