This pic was taken about 50 yards from the 2 strutters in our team banner. Could even be the same birds.... na I doubt it - pretty sure both of those birds in the banner volunteered for a ride to town around mid-April last year ;D

I hope they are finished with all of them before April 2. A lonely tom would be a lot more fun than one with 6 or 7 holding him in the middle of a hay field.
Truthfully they will just be getting started good. I kind of like my season lasting 4 or 5 weeks, I would get sick if I tagged out the first week or two. Can you imagine only getting to hunt spring turkeys for two weeks. I'd be forcing my kids to start hunting just so I could go back out and call another.
