SERIOUSLY!?! WHAT IS NEXT!?!?!

Is it any wonder that shortly after the current administration decided to allow gays to openly serve in the military, they also decided to change laws that previously forbad sodomy? Interestingly, the wording of the law previously in place included making bestiality ("carnal penetration" of an animal) an offense punishable by court martial. Now not even the livestock is safe...
I heard audio of an interview with John McCain after the vote. He was asked if he was aware that he had just voted to approve bestiality for service members. He sounded quite bewildered that this measure was even a part of the legislation he had just voted for. In other words, he voted for it without even knowing exactly what he was voting on. Not surprising...
Well, the Senate is not the "current administration". Two different entities. So let's make sure we get it right about who is responsible here.
Still: :turkey2:
The Senate is controlled by the democratic party for now which supports the current administration in most cases so I would say THE POST IS CORRECT IN THAT IT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS COUNTRY with the blessings of the "Current Administration".
Rand Paul (R-TX) and Mark Kirk (R-IL) were the only Republican Senators to vote against it. :TooFunny: Everybody's to blame. I'd be more concerned about Sections 1031 and 1032.

You are correct that is also a major concern.
I'd be more concerned by the lack of jobs that Boehner promised.
And we wonder why we are hearing more about cases like happened at Penn State. You mean to tell me that all of the Republican Senators, except two, voted for this thing?
My senator is going to get a thumbs down from me next election :smiley-char092:

The sodomy/bestiality piece was part of the much larger defense bill, the National Defense Authorization Act. Voting against it (solely on that change alone) would likely label any senator "anti-military".

That is so true. Sadly, career politicians have learned that if they slip things like this into bills having nothing to do with the "bigger issue" of the bill, they can get their agendas passed. That really steams my beans. They don't have the stones to try to get legitimate bills passed on their own merit. They have to "sneak" something in... It happens on both sides of the aisle...
My question is really this, what sick pervert would throw this into this bill?
Someone had to author it.
I quote John Hagee "If God does not judge America for her wickedness, then He will have to apologize to Sodome and Gomorha".
This is sick.
My senator will get a letter about this.
Well now that it's legal, lets put about ten naked senators in the pen with a few horney bulls. Olay!
Yeah, or a male silver back gorilla :you_rock:
Where is PETA on crap like this???

:TooFunny:
PETA would do the sheep before anybody. its just a front
This is why come election time every ad says "senator so&so voted to allow this and that". It is how politics works on both sides of isle and this is why those ads mean absolutely nothing. In order to get the little changes made they slip em in with the big votes. They also have to do this in order to get everything voted on since they only are in session for a couple months a year. Man I want their vacation plan!!!
We need the common man in Congress and the Senate. Don't forget, these guys are ""Lawyers"". In it for the money, period!! Half or more probably don't even read what they sign into law because so n so said it was ok.
8 Year max terms for all these fat cats and no more FAT and no more salary after retirement AND the same health benny's the rest of us are supposed to get.
I vote a heck yeah on term limits :you_rock:
