Last week I posted a review of a couple of calls that I got in the mail from Gary Taylor of Stone Road Turkey Calls and I wanted to add a few pictures.
The first is a Laminated Cedar and Spalted wood pot with slate over glass. Im not sure what the spalted wood is, but maybe someone will know. It sounds awesome.

Next up is a Black walnut blasted glass over glass. This call is a deeper pitched call, but its still got plenty of bird in it.

And last but not least is my favorite of the bunch a Cherry pot with ceramic over glass. I have really come to love Cherry for turkey calls and I have also recently discovered ceramic and the sound qualities it is known for. Add to the looks the low maintanence of Ceramic and it is a perfect combo in my book.
