Title: First Big Buck

Well I finally sealed the deal on monday the 21st. It was a rainy morning and not much was moving so I thought i would go walk the edge of a thicket, i get to the end of the thicket and start checking a pasture that had been mowed. I look to my left at a fence row and I see rack sticking up out of the fence row, so i get down behind some tall weeds and watch him. This buck jumps the fence and starts walking right to me, he stops at 25 yrds puts his nose up in the air and I let him have it. He drops like a ton of bricks, never moved another in. Here is a pic of my buck, he is a 14 pointer gross score 170 and field dressed at 185

I shot this buck in Indiana

Thanks guys, I know I will probably never shoot a big boy like this again but it will be fun trying too

Congrats... My buddy and I shot a couple in Indiana last month. Check out the Indiana success post. Indiana has some bruisers....

I hunt in Ohio so I know the quality of deer. I wouldn't say never! You will see another dandy deer like this in your lifetime. Once again congrats!
