Title: View From My Treestand.
Post by: redarrow on December 02, 2011, 01:01:11 PM
Took these pics Wednesday evening. Last day of the Michigan firearms season.Made a bad shot (low) on a doe.Looked like low in the front leg. Tracked her 1/2 a mile through the neighboring farm into another cornfield where she quit bleeding. Ending the season on such a sour note really sucks..

Ain't huntin' in the snow great! Sorry about the doe, but get the old smoke pole out and give it another shot. Got a whole month left.

Beautiful layout! It makes me miss Ohio's snowy bowhunts in the late season!

Beautiful place ya got there, Red! :icon_thumright:
Harrison and I are heading out in about an hour and a half for the final deer hunt of 2011.
It's been a tough one. I haven't even seen a deer. Can't wait for spring turkey!
