Title: RemChoke Four Horsemen of the Turkey Apocalypse
Post by: 3" 870 Shell Shucker on December 01, 2011, 06:15:20 AM
After reading this forum for several years now, it appears that these 4 chokes are the proven ones for big numbers in Remingtons:

Rhino .660
Indian Creek .665
Pure Gold .670
Primos Jelly Head .660

Any comments?

The Rhino in my 12 was great. The .555 IC in my 20 is amazing.

I have an Indian Creek .665 for my 870 and it does a fine job.  I want to pick up a .665 for my INV+ BPS as well.  Very Good Chokes for HTL.

Yes the overall consensus I get is the JH .660 performs better then the JH .665 but the .665 still throws a great pattern.
All the chokes you listed great great chokes.
My top 2 in that list would be the Indian Creek and the PureGold based on their great customer service

I.C for me in my 11-87. She throws some killer patterns farther than I would ever shoot at a turkey. I would say your spot on with your choke selections.
