We are hunting for the first year around Leary Georgia, Calhoun County. It is pretty far down to the southwest of Albany not too far to the east of the river. I have been told that the deer rut here in the first 2 weeks of December, just curious if anybody had any information for this part of Georgia.
We were up last weekend and did not see much, there were a few scrapes and only saw some very small bucks. Had some 3 year olds on the camera at night but nothing mature.
There are plenty of does on the property and I have been told by the other people on the lease that the bucks will come from everywhere to be on the property when the time is right.
