I was just curious on how some of you other guys look at opening day. I haven't worked on that day of turkey season in 10 years. I feel the same way about opening day as my kids feel about Christmas morning. Ive got it pretty bad, the night before I load everything up in my truck and lay awake half the night playing different scenarios over in my head. My wife thinks I'm a little crazy when it comes to turkey hunting I call it passion just

I do the same thing. Think about all the different ways the hunt is gonna happen. I always kill something the night before. I'm already pretty excited, and I still have about 35 days to go. I have already started putting stuff in my vest. I don't sleep alot as the season gets near.

I will be off. I'm hunting one place in the morning and another that evening.
I'll be off for sure. Booked some vacation for my Southern US tour and April 25th for the Ontario season. Just like a kid in a candy store, already going through the stuff getting things ready and checking what needs to be replaced. May even have a look at the new DSD strutter. Guess I need to decide if it's a want or need. Doesn't really matter though, it's both.
Opening day is special - just like deer season used to be. Up extra early, spot will be planned out following my last scouting trip, I carry my 10ga and make breakfast plans for 8am before I leave in the morning!!!
