Makes you sick. He's been waiting for his moment and here it is. The man has to go ! He's destroying this great country. Every were you look fighting over something.
Why dont they look up the pittman robertson act of 1937. With out hunting and the sale of fire arms and ammo, there would be no wildlife areas. That is where the money to protect these natural areas comes from.
"As the West has become more populated, recreational shooters now often find themselves in conflict with other public lands users, and the BLM is frequently called on to mediate these conflicts."
The price we are paying for development. All these new suburbs squeezing everyone out.
Do a search on the intermess. BLM got the message and is backing down.
Restricting target practice to de jure target ranges and not allowing people to shoot wherever they step out of a truck is not a new concept to public land management. It is a workable approach, they just need to allow enough to be set up with berms, etc.

It requires constant vigilance! We all need to stay aware of potential changes in laws and regulations and support those who represent us positively.
Thanks,
Clark

we dont need them to look it up. if they did then they would take it and put some iou's in its place and it would be like social security is now.

What Clark said is pretty much the point. That above link may not have come to pass but its an example of what goes on that folks don't catch. It's a battle that makes me feel gun owners are on an island and we have folks coming at us from all sides. So far we've held up under fire but what's coming in the future?
