This is just such a sad sad story.  Another cautionary tale of safety in the deer stand.

The thread title says hunters catches "fies," it thought somebody fell out while swatting flies.

Either way, bad way to go.

A couple of years ago, there was a poor rascal that put his grandson up in a stand early in the morning in Olgethorpe Co. GA and stepped on or near a timber rattler when he came down and was killed by the venom.
