The Va. fall turkey season opener is oct. 29 and good luck to all the hunters that will be out hunting.

YEP.....we had rain, snow and ice on the trees on this opening day and them the wind got to blowing bad....... BUT we got all next week.

we all had a good time talking about some old hunting times that we had in the past seasons.

going to be in the 60's all next week. :icon_thumright:

Oh it was a real nice day. I did a little scouting taking advantage of the snow to check tracks. Me and my old Cherokee knocked the cobwebs off too.

Wasn't any better in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle. 8 inches of snow from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. I heard a half dozen branches or trees break and fall. Saw deer tracks but no birds or bears.
Going out next two days in Md.'s short fall turkey hunt. Got a nice gobbler two years ago with shotgun.
