Title: Just received C.M. Brumfiel's Old School Call
Post by: a-j calls on October 25, 2011, 10:03:30 AM
Chris recently made and sent this his cedar double pane slate call with poplar and oak strikers. Chris's workmenship is very good, I find the oak striker gives a deeper raspy sound, where the poplar striker gives a higher pitch.  The call is quieter than a pot, slate or glass call, but it produces very good cutt's, yelps and purrs.Well done Chris..

What I like about these calls are the diversity they offer the hunter in changing up the sound for more opportunities.

Nice work for sure.
