Been playing on my Nova I got some aluminum so I decided to make a one of a kind striker for my ceramic pot call ...she plays well and can be quiet when you need it......

WOW!!!
Been getting emails and pm's on this lil' "lightning Rod" about how I turned it...I'll tell you this, it took three hours of easy cutting, on my Nova Wood lathe. I didn't turn it on a metal lathe, I used a collett chuck and a live center in the tail stock. I cut it with my carbide insert "the Hoss" lathe chisel I got from Sanitarium here on OG. It is solid, measures 8 - 1/2" long. I am thinking about cutting the top off and gutting the inside out, and maybe replacing the cap or may keep it off if it helps on the volume any.....
