Not long ago, Barry had sent me a box of sweet wormy chestnut, I am thinking it was from his home place, and it is some nice stuff, between the pith and the cracks, there was treasure to be found...

I made this caller for him out of a 12" piece and topped it with some super red Paduak...it has a great sound, sweet gobbling and kee-kee along with some yelps that would send shivers down your spine.....

I call it "My 10 cents worth"...as you can see I mounted a 1917 Mercury dime on the top end of the paddle......
