Got a post card today saying I need to schedule a pickup for a pkg. Before calling I decided to do some research instead. Here's what I found.

Good thing that you were on your toes, Red. Imagine some elderly couple that take the bait, hook, line and sinker. I hate people that live at the expense of others. Especially when they prey on the vulnerable. (and sometimes stupid). They need to do more than slap their hands..
Thanks for the heads up. Why can't these types of low lifes be held accountable and thrown in jail.
We got a call last week saying it was a local bank and there was a problem with my account and if I didn't get in touch with them I couldn't use my debit card. Since I do not have a debit card with this bank, I checked with the bank and sure nuff it was a scam. Called the authorities and they already had several reports about this scam. Sad thing was some people were taken in and gave out their bank information.
I know this is a old scam but people are still falling for it.
If they put their brains and time into a legitimate business they would be successful. I feel for the ones that get taken and would like to see the penalty so severe when caught that they will not go there again.
Good post!
