Sad sad day.  I was watching the race when it happened.  He was a great driver and seemed like a great person.  The way Marty Reid closed the broadcast was hard to listen to.

I know I'll miss seeing him on the track.

It is a sad day! being from the mid-west(Indiana) I grew up watching and goin to the races. I was a bigger fan of racing than any other sport, from the the open wheels to the dirt track stockers and Nascar. This was a sad day for my wife and I. The whole Auto Racing world lost a good one!!
