Anybody using one of these? I am thinking of buying one for my dad, he has trouble sometimes staying comfortable on the ground and I was thinking one of these might be the solution. If you could share your experiences with them that would be great.
Thanks,
I was looking at one of these myself...cabelas has them on sale for $19.99 I just wonder how well they hold up with use.
Best chair you can get for the money. You won't or he won't be disappointed. Beware of the Sand Man though!
I bought one when they first hit the market. I love it !! You sit close to the ground but not on the ground. Folds up so you can sling it over your shoulder while on the move. The comfort allows you to sit longer. I highly recommend it !! :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
There no good........ I get way to much sleep in them.. wonder how many turkeys have walked by me? :TooFunny: :TooFunny:
Best chair for the $$$$

I think the Gobbler Loungers are nice, but I've been using an Everest San Angelo Camo recliner for several years. I chose it over the Gobbler Lounger because it has a wider base, keeping it from sinking in to the ground, and it's infinitely adjustable for uneven ground, front leg support, and back tilt. It's rated for 250 lbs, but I'm a big man, and weigh over 300 and the recliner has held up to all the abuse I could give it. Another plus is when its folded up, I can slide it in between my game bag and seat pad on my turkey vest, leaving my hands free.

The price here is $50.00, but I've seen them for less at Amazon and Dicks Sporting Goods.
Gman
I had to order a new one my son likes my old to well.
I love mine. Both myself and my son have one. Very comfortable.
The best part is your legs don't fall asleep from sitting on the ground.
The bad part is the rest of you does........... :TooFunny: :TooFunny:
Gamblinman
I just ordered mine ! Thanks for the info!!!!!!!!
I bought one last summer and used it this past deer season, it is very comfortable and looking forward to using it this spring. :icon_thumright:
There on sale 19.99
I ordered one two days before they went on sale :character0029: :character0029: But Im really excited to try it this spring. If its anything like ive heard, It'll bring a whole new experience to my hunting.
Awesome seat for a long hunt. Loved a borrowed one last year and bought one for this season.
Also got the lounge sack from customgunsocks.com -- member on this site.
They are a very nice piece of gear I highly recommend them. The only negative to them, is hte cheap carry strap that they ahve on them. Before this season, I'm gonna figure out a way to add another better quality more comfortable strap.

They go on sale every year right before turkey season
Love mine :z-guntootsmiley: :you_rock: :z-guntootsmiley:
Second only to my gun for being the best thing I have to hunt with. Get the lounger sack also. Chief.
I havent used one but it sure looks like a sure buy.
Good idea, because thats all the lounger is, a lawn chair.

My son got me one, it came in Wed. I think it will help me a lot with my bad knees to stay still. I'm just not comfortable on the ground for an extended period of time.
I loved mine so much I got one for my Dad and brother. Since their on sale, I'll probably get a spare too. :you_rock:
I love my gobbler lounger and I even bought the bag from custom gun socks.com to carry it in.
What I like about it also is when I bend my knees it puts me in a perfect position to shoot and steady my gun. Best money spent
I saw the ad where its rated at 200lbs. That leaves me out.
I'm going to get a beach chair when they're put out in the big box stores. A little camo spraying and I should be OK.
GObbler Lounger is the BOMB.... :you_rock:
Can the legs be adjusted for unlevel ground?
When you get out of the chair, be careful not to put your hand on the handles and push up with all your weight. I think JIMBOB bent his that way.
Don't buy one. Buy at least two. Simply awesome (from someone with back problems)
Got mine ordered! Supposed to be here Monday! :you_rock:
Can't Wait! :z-guntootsmiley:
I've got one and love it. I've had 2 back operstions and this turkey seat is the ticket. To bad this seat
is build in China. If this chair was made here in the USA, it would be perfect.
There great chair i got one and love it.
I don't know about no 200lb weight limit. I aint been 200lbs since the 1980's and my Lounger is holdin' up just fine. I ease into it and ease out of it and no problems so far in 2 seasons. :you_rock:

I weigh 235 and have had no problems with the gobbler lounger holding my weight either. One end of the carry strap pulled loose so I simply attached one of my old rifle slings to the chair. Works great.
I was in a Cabela's today and bought a spare. One to loan to my hunting buddies and have just in case.
NYbassman, go ahead and buy the Gobbler Lounge. I've been using mine going on 4 seasons. I love it, it's easy to tote, and easy to set up, and comfy to sit in. You can't go wrong with it, trust me! :icon_thumright:

I love mine. The first thing I did when I bought it was to put on a rubber sling strap so I wear the seat bandolero style. Very comfortable and the strap is holding up great. I think this will be the 3rd season I/m using it.
Looks like I will order one tommorrow. :icon_thumright:
The other solution to cabelas aluminum lawn chair is an all wood one on my back which I am told by field trial our is more comfortable.
