Big Bro and I shot these 5 wood ducks this morning, opening day here in MI. The first 7 or 8 go in my freezer for Christmas dinner, stuffed with apple/cinnamon/raisin dressing and roasted.

great shooting. I might have to get that recipe off of you :icon_thumright:
Awesome hunt. It's cool that you and your brother got to get together and do the shopping for the big dinner!

Looks like a nice morning! congrats!
One of the best eatting ducks around, congrats
Very Nice, Our season doesn't even open until the last weekend in November in Bama.
Did have fun with early goose and teal season though.

Nice strap. They eat good for sure.
Try soaking them in Italian and Dales. Cut slivers in the breast, Stick some carmelized onions and granny smith apples slices in them. Wrap them in bacon and through them on the grill.
Congrats.
Wish our wood duck limit was 5 instead of 3.

Besides the EATING..........gotta be one of the funniest ducks to shoot. :z-guntootsmiley:
Without a doubt, especially when hunting them in the timber.

Nothing like timber creek bottom full of woodies.
