Title: Nice night to be in the woods.
Post by: briancady on October 05, 2011, 08:52:04 PM
The weather was perfect for a deer hunt this evening.  Even though I didn't see no deer, I had 2 elk visit me and alot of other small critters.  All in all a great night in the woods.

There is nothing like the smell of the woods this time of year.

You gotta love those times of the year when summer transends into fall and then when winter transends into our beloved SPRING.   :gobble:

Monday morning all I saw was a house cat and a few squirrel tails flipping about as they barked.  I enjoy the smells, as mentioned.  Another thing I love about being in the woods before daylight is feeling the temps get a few degrees colder right as the sun comes up, then feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin as it rises, moves behind the trees and changes the appearance of creation a moment at a time.  It's times like that I have to stop and thank God for His creation.
