Title: Ugliest Decoy, EVER
Post by: muddy on October 04, 2011, 11:04:16 PM
But he works.  A buddy gave me this decoy (named Big Boi) last winter when he made a new one.  I went on 5 hunts this spring between myself and 3 buddies and we killed 5 mature adult gobblers.  Pretty sure he uglied them to death.

True.  I just love the fact that unpressured turkeys are so retarded that they'll come attack just about anything you put out there that they haven't seen before.

A very fitting title! I have seen some "Pretty Boy" decoys before, and now I can say I've seen an "Ugly Boy"!  :icon_thumright:

You may have hit on something there..... the "Wounded & Weakened 'Ol Tom" - it draws in those unsympathetic Toms looking to beat up on a helpless victim.
