But he works. A buddy gave me this decoy (named Big Boi) last winter when he made a new one. I went on 5 hunts this spring between myself and 3 buddies and we killed 5 mature adult gobblers. Pretty sure he uglied them to death.

he's not that bad. He looks well used/loved.
As long as it works thats all that matters.

If I saw a turkey that ugly I would probably want to destroy it too!
True. I just love the fact that unpressured turkeys are so retarded that they'll come attack just about anything you put out there that they haven't seen before.

:agreed: but that is one ugly creature
A very fitting title! I have seen some "Pretty Boy" decoys before, and now I can say I've seen an "Ugly Boy"! :icon_thumright:
yup,sure is ugly
You may have hit on something there..... the "Wounded & Weakened 'Ol Tom" - it draws in those unsympathetic Toms looking to beat up on a helpless victim.
Ugly deke but pretty results. Hope my ratty fanned gobbler works out this spring too.
he isn't ugly. Just has character.
looks like that would scare away a starving coyote! But whatever works.
You ought to rent him out
whatever it takes.
Looks like he's been whipped up on more than once
WTH.
It sure is ugly but it sure is effective!
looks better than a lot of the decoys on the market....
hes beat!
