I got to slip off yesterday afternoon and do a little bow hunting behind the house. I had scouted around a little Saturday afternoon and found lots of white oak acorns falling and lots of deer sign. This doe came in and finally gave me a 15yd shot, she didn't run 75yds! Time for some backstraps on the grill!!

Congrats you got yourself a dandy doe..I had a bittersweet opener myself.Shat a young doe and lost her to the swamp monster. :'(
