Title: Father son bear hunt in WA state (not me though)
Post by: mossy835 on September 27, 2011, 06:25:23 PM
Since we are all waiting on Turkey season and I will be in this area four days this week starting Friday for the fall turkey season here is a link to a nice sized bear called in by the father.

In three trips to the lodge I have seen and found two adult bears one with two cubs she sent up a tree. Worth a look.

How much are the turkey hunts up there? And what do they mean called in a bear? Are they hunting them like yotes?

A local person in the town of Tenino makes bear calls (kind of a grunt squeal) and the locals use them to call in bears. His site is as follows:

On the turkey hunts are you asking for the out of state fee or what the lodge charges?
