Title: Gobbler Pictures!

These two boys had some friends with them. They had some nice beards to,they're still a lil ways from my public land I hunt.

Do you guys think they might end up there? They're about1/2 to a mile away from public land.

Absolutely turkeys will travel farther then you think depending on food

They really do cover alot of ground to investigate.  I will practice at my folks place in the country and the next day they will call and tell me a tom is strutting in the yard looking for his hen!

Someone posted on here that he killed a bird that was 200 miles from where it was banded.
So your 1/2 mile ain't that far

When they take a notion to move, its amazing how fast they walk, Makes this little fat man have to hit high gear on the run around!  I hardly ever see birds on my place during winter, but crutchs flock is about 3/4 mile away and they always make it to me when the hens are looking for a nest site. I think your okay!! :fud:
