For anyone looking to come to Bama this spring the outlook is grim. No poult sightings across the whole state. There were two turkeys left after last spring and apparently they were both hens or both gobblers. You should give it at least 10 years or so before planning a trip to Bama. Maybe the N"WTF" will relocate a breeding pair to help jump start the restoration process, or at least donate two boxes to tranport them in. If you doubt my report I'm sure my findings can be confirmed by others who live in Bama.
N"WTF" to the rescue!!! :TooFunny:
Time to throw some banquets!
Dang guess I will cancel my trip then, let me know when it improves oh and where did your mom and you get all of those turkeys last season?

Are those from Bama? If so its nice to see, but to bad they can't possibly be fertile. I guess if I'm going to hunt this spring I'll have to go out of state. Could take a stick and go out west and kill a couple of those barnyard birds. :fud:
I have seen the same. Not a good hatch, spring too wet. We had a poor turkey population even before this spring
