Title: bowfishing with a generator

I set up my boat with lights to bowfish at night and wanted to know if gfsi is needed?My genny doesn't have gsfi.Can I up-grade it if gfsi is needed?

if the lights come on you can go. I would be very careful that there are no exposed wires and that all the connections are good.
