Title: Almost Packed/Loaded
Post by: hobbes on September 10, 2011, 04:55:22 PM
The moving truck is about 2/3 loaded.  I'm about to break down the computer to move the desk, so not sure I'll hook her back up for several days.  I probably won't set up internet service for a little while, so I may not be around for awhile unless I check in at the Library.

My short elk season didn't result in an elk for the freezer, but I drew on two different cows.  One on the 1st day at 20 yards that never gave me a clear shot and another at 45 that was part of a small herd with a bull.  I waited for the bull that was screaming at 60 yards.  He never gave me any sort of shot whatsoever, so I drew on the cow.  I just couldn't find a spot to slip an arrow through.

I'm sure I'll be back by turkey season or sooner, but its goodbye for now.

Montana bound!
