Here a 3in copper over glass i did up recently Maple with some type bark inclusions in the wood

Mike, I am soooo glad to see the magic :toothy12: come out of this wood from your hands.  I just knew you would do it justice...think I might have to have you make me a copper with this same wood, cause I have plenty more of it.

I did find somewhere recently that this may be a form of birdseye...no, not the 'normal' birdseye.  Beautiful job with this pot...the inclusions turned out better than you could see from the outside.

Scott ,,Yes the wood kind of seemed like birds eye but funky LOL The beauty is their just needed little help coming out  and  ,, I turned some of the birds eye and its some good lookin wood also .

Well like birdseye, the inclusions shoot through the wood from each individual 'mark'.  I have never seen wood like it before, especially domestic wood.  Looking forward to seeing some beauties :you_rock: from the 'real' birdseye and the curly!
