Not really the Flu but, this last wednesday I started getting a little bit under the weather, as thursday and friday are my days off work I was a little bit bummed out but figured would save me some sick time, by friday morning I was calling in for saturday having broken my fever some time the night before I thought I would be good to go by saturday, well then the headaches started not migraines but just about as debilitating, could look at the TV , have any thing above a normal conversation level of volume and had to keep the blinds shut. They also would come and go ( not comppletely gone) and when they came back it took a matter of 15-30 seconds and alls you can do is close your eyes and lie down they were so painful, by monday I am at the doctor and she says its not the flu, even though it has all the symptoms, aches , pains chills etc. Evereyones getting it and they dont know if its a bacteria, virus or what. I can finally watch TV, get on the laptop etc for short periods of time, and I have lost about 12 pounds. Guys watch out for people coughing etc this time of year, talked to my mom and colorado and she is seeing and hearing the same thing. I havent been this sick since I was a teenager some 20 years ago, I took this whole week off work which is more sick time than I have taken off since I was married over 10 years ago combined.
Get to feeling better bro!! Prayers sent! :jesus-cross:
feel better soon...
I take the sympton of the 12 pounds of weight loss...you can keep all the others! :TooFunny:
If I had to hedge a bet, I'd say mono. There are some nasty viruses out there. Have to think about viral meningitis as well. Only time will fix that, so don't freak out.
Hope you get to feeling better.
Hey Leo....I'm just gettin over it myself,So I know what you went through

Its not Mono or Meningitis, doctors have checked for that, nothing "normal" is coming up. I have had mono and this was different

I lost my last "10 pounds" when i got sick over the summer as well...hit my goal and was thrilled...BUt knew it wouldnt stay off cause I didnt lose it 'correctly" -- it was because I literally couldnt eat for 3 days... -- so once I started feeling better --- it came back on... Not that I want to get SICK like that again EVER...not fun... I would rather have a belly roll LOL
