I am in the market for a new pump. I haven't handled the Winchester 1300, but an seriously considering it. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad?
Thanks

The Winchester SXP has some very positive features including the Invector+ bore and the Inflex Recoil Pad. It's marketed as the companion, pump gun, to the SX3, auto loader and resembles that gun in appearance. I have looked at it, handled one, cycled it but have not shot it.
I'd recommend that you shoulder one and see how it feels. All of the Winchester pumps work pretty smoothly in my experience and this one seems to be the same in that way. It's really mostly a matter of what feels best to you.
Thanks,
Clark
My favorite turkey gun. Shoots great, handles great and never let's me down. Most of my group is hunting them for years and I don't ever remember any issues with any.
I have hunted with the 1300 for years, including grouse, ducks / geese, turkey and deer. I have 3 barrels, a 22" smooth bore for grouse and turkey (with appropriate tubes), a 22" fully rifled for deer and a 26" smooth bore for ducks / geese. It has never failed to cycle a round.
The new SXP looks very similar, but I can not speak for it as I have not held one or shot one. If I was looking for a new pump gun, it would be on my short list to try.

First had a 1200 30" win choke still have but I use a 1300 24 " turkey gun and it is fast !!! Love it
Looked at the SXP the other day and was impressed with it. I would give it serious thought if I was looking for a pump.

X2! Took a good look at one at my old store and really liked what I saw. Fit well (for me) and definetely did not look like junk for the price! Must say I was impressed.
