All right they are okay in my book too.
A friend of mine bought a used Mossberg 500 12ga pump for rabbits. One day while hunting he shot and the barrel fell apart right where the barrel screws on. He called Mossberg and told them what happened then they told him to send the barrel to them. He did, they looked it over and sent him a brand new barrel at no cost. The bad part about it was I sold it to him, after I bought it from someone else. If I would have taken it out I would have gotten that barrel.
they sent me a new barrel w/o any issues. great costumer service!!! 5 STARS.
They do have excellent service! :icon_thumright:
That is great to hear. I think Mossberg does have great service. I only had to use them once when I first bought my 835 new. The barrel wasn't finished nicely like it should have been in Mossy Oak Shadowgrass under the vent rib. I noticed this upon closer inspection after I bought the gun. I was upset and called them. They told me to send it in. I got a whole new barrel and receiver that looked great. Took about 2 weeks if I remember correctly. But I'm sure they looked this gun over to the bone so I wouldn't have any more letdowns. I had that gun since 98 or 99 I believe. No issues.
Never had to deal with their customer service but it is great to know! :icon_thumright:
The factory sights leave a lot to be desired on mossbergs. I wish they'd get a contract with tru glo or Williams. They would have a complete turkey killer. I have a few Mossberg vent rib turkey guns, none of which still have the factory sights. I did get good customer service from them on a jamming issue on my 935 also.
It's good to hear that companies stand behind their products !! :icon_thumright:

I had a few issues with a rifle I purchased for my son. It would not fire when the trigger was pulled. It would dent the primer, but not fire. I sent it off and they had changed the bolt out, but I still have the same problem. I still have the rifle, but bought a Remi 700 for him. Love their turkey guns, but wouldn't recomend their rifles.
