Title: Open Truck Door: Stop the "ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding"

Drives me nuts every time I open the door when the truck is running.

How can I disable the sound......besides keeping the door shut lol

tape down the button that pops out when you open the door.

there should be a fuse you can pull too...pop your fuse box and the cover should tell you what each does...

Checked the fuse box and don't see anything about the door. 

I wanna cut out the sound, not the action.  When I open my door the truck dome lights come on which I want to keep.  Just want to nullify the sound.

It can be a pain on some trucks because they put the buzzer in a hard to get to place or on a harness with so many other wires.  Had one that I was able to unplug, others were not so easy.  Got lucky on my GMC as the dinger just quit working.

If you can hunt down the buzzer, see if it can be unplugged. If you have to clip wires, be sure it's the right one and leave plenty in case you need to reconnect.

Unplugged the wire that controls the ding and I am finally able to enjoy peace.
