Title: Red Cedar
Post by: gobblerhunter on August 19, 2011, 12:32:04 AM
Here is a couple pictures of a red cedar business card holder that I finished a couple days ago.  This piece of cedar is really beautiful.  The shotgun shell holders are also made from the same piece and are beautiful as well.
This piece of cedar came off my brother-in-laws farm in western Kentucky.  The tree fell during an ice storm several years ago and I was able to salvage a portion of the trunk.  I still have enough wood to probably make two more card holders.

This is going to be a "one of a kind" as I have re-drawn the flying turkey and probably will not use this design again.

Thanks for looking and may God Bless You.

Bill
