Title: Turkey Calls and Non-heated/Cooled Garage
Post by: Dhamilton1 on March 13, 2026, 11:29:53 AM
My garage is part of my house but is not heated or cooled so it can get very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter.

With that said, I am wanting to put a shelf or case on the wall to hold/display my turkey calls but am worried about the temperature effects on them.

I assume since they are wood and glue, the heating and cooling will take a toll on them?

For reference, I currently store them in a large Tupperware then store that in a specific turkey hunting plastic tote in the garage that holds closes, accessories and my vest in the off season.

I would not advise storing calls, guns, or ammo without a controlled environment. Heat and humidity are your enemies!
