I've got a couple of big hunt's planned this year and have been looking at them. I'd like to be able to mount it to the gun but not sure you can. Chief.

I purchased the 960Hd back in April, my intent was to film my turkey hunts. Save your money, Both of the birds I shot while filming could not be seen. One bird was at 40 yds and the other was at 27yds.

If the camera had a zoom it would be the way to go.

I do like the hatband mount that came with the camera, and the one touch and you are filming is nice also. If I had it to do again, I would not...

I have one and love it, but as fullfan said it's only good at close range. I use it along with my other video camera, mainly to film the hunter in action. Here is a video hardcore and I did yesterday just messing around.

Here's another Gopro Hero vid, be sure to watch the full HD (1080p) version.

When used correctly, the GoPro can be an amazing tool for any videographer, novice to expert.  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

I got one before turkey season.  Got one kill on film.. can't see the bird.  I will say the "after the shot" was worth having it on though.

And here's 2 jakes at 25 yards.. you can barely see them.. http://www.youtube.com/user/drmnhipster?feature=mhsn#p/a/u/1/Wzi1C5cuaY0

I like the camera, great quality but it's got to be reeeaaalllly close to get it.   I think it can be great in certain applications, but it certainly wasn't what I was hoping it was.
