I was excited for this vest but after watching their YouTube video it looks like a churched up badlands vest. Which I also hated lol.

Looks like they have clothing coming as well, saw a leafy top video.

Not looking for a vest but theirs is promising, I will not judge it without hands on it.

Is it me or does every leafy jacket look the same. It's tough to beat the north mountain one

Watched same video and wasn't  really impressed. Looks like they incorporated some of the design of the last strut light vest. I ran with last strut last season had some loose stitching and Rodgers replaced it. Still looking for a light comfy vest.

It's hard for me to get rid of my Sitka vest. Love that thing.

Other than the stitching issue, how do you like the Last Strut vest?

Before you go spending money on Chene Gear, be aware that one of their Founders was involved in a sketchy deal to try and buy a WMA in Arkansas. So someone who profits from hunters, trying to take away your hunting land.

The Chene co-founder is President of "Lobofarms LLC" mentioned in the above article.

Just something to think about before you go and spend $350 on a turkey vest and pad the pockets of a founder who may snatch up our hunting land in the future.

I noodled around a bit and see that the senator in the video introduced bills to keep it private in 2021. I couldn't find anything about the outcome. Were they able to keep it in public hands and potentially expand it like he talked about?

I'm not trying to be political in any way just interested in the outcome.

Leafy jackets in my opinion aren't leafy enough to bother, maybe I'm wrong but I don't get busted too often anyway.

I've considered a light ghillie top for places it's hard to find cover.
