Nasty wound there buddy. Makes it worse that the gun was pink and everybody knows what happened to you. Yikes.

Yep , you got to be real careful about that you can catch a key with the trigger and set it off , many of the revolvers and newer autos have no safety other than the trigger it self - wear a good holster! 

For example ,Had it not been for the trigger action on the Glock 27 , I would be using that instead of the s&w I carry for CC daily use

I hope he can recover from the damage to the groin area , if they have to do some reconstructive surgery they can do the 6 million dollar man , and build it better.....bigger ...
